High Holidays: A Plant Parenthood Preparation Circle

With the holidays upon us, we thought we'd do something a little different to gather and celebrate with the community. So rather than our monthly integration circle, we're doing our first ever preparation circle. Introducing Plant Parenthood's High Holidays.

The holidays bring their own kind of journey—one filled with expectations, old patterns, and plenty of substances (eggnog, anyone?). The High Holidays preparation circle is a safe space for our community to gather and explore how we want to show up during this season.

Together, we'll discuss the pressures of the holiday gauntlet, navigate expectations around consumption (alcohol, food, sweets, and yes, other substances too), and think intentionally about how we engage with family dynamics. Whether you're looking to set boundaries, approach old habits with fresh eyes, or even consider using substances thoughtfully amidst the chaos, this circle is about preparation over perfection.

This group will be lightly facilitated by Rebecca and Andrew. While the group is open to all, we'll be particularly focused on how parents can move through the holidays with more awareness and less autopilot.

Themes for exploration may include:

  • Navigating family dynamics and old patterns

  • Approaching consumption mindfully (alcohol, food, and other substances)

  • Setting intentions and boundaries for the season

  • Using psychedelics or other tools during high-stress family time

  • Finding balance between presence and self-preservation
